TRAM DERAILED IN THE FIRST DAY OF WEEK..

It is the first working day of the week and the City is blessed with heavy downpour.

After a long break finally monsoon entered the City.

Waterlogging is one of the most common issue in the city during monsoon , as usual streets of Tollygunge,Central Avenue,MG Road,Thanthania got drowned.

Beside this another problem arised today in the morning at around 9am , a tram got derailed at Rashbehari Connector causing heavy traffic in some parts of South Kolkata area ,i.e Gariahat , Hazra ,Kalighat.

"The tram got derailed in the morning during office hours and after the incident , information was sent to transport department but no help came from the transport department of West Bengal government " , said on - duty traffic surgent.

Finally at around 12 pm the tram has been removed from the road and that has made the traffic normal.
